Snohomish Divorce Appraisals: Residence, Date and Report Users

For a Snohomish divorce valuation, define the residence, interest and effective date. The report documents value rather than deciding who receives assets.

Describe the Snohomish assignment accurately

Send the actual property address and parcel. A city name is not an inspection appointment or proof of an office location. Identify acreage, detached buildings and accessory living areas so the residential scope can be evaluated.

Provide property records, not every belonging

Plans, permits, earlier photographs and renovation dates can inform the real-estate analysis. Jewelry, accounts, vehicles and other possessions are separate from this engagement. Tell counsel which additional assets may require other expertise.

Read the report as valuation evidence

Review the property description, effective date and reasoning with the intended users. The conclusion can inform negotiations without dictating the settlement. No history of hundreds of divorce clients, multi-appraiser team or legal recommendations is represented.

What does the report establish?

The residential appraisal develops a value opinion for the agreed property interest, effective date and intended users. It does not divide marital assets, calculate every settlement payment or guarantee that the parties or a court will agree. Legal and lending requirements should be confirmed separately.

What if an earlier date is requested?

Provide records that describe the residence at that date, including photographs, permits and renovation history. Explain later changes. The report and inspection may occur after the effective date; historical research should not silently substitute today’s condition or market for the earlier facts.

What should accompany a quote request?

Send the property address, purpose, requested effective date, intended users, deadline and access contact. Describe the residence, access arrangements and any instructions from counsel. Mention acreage, accessory units, multiple parcels or unusual features so scope, fee and availability can be confirmed.
